Waaywood began when owner Billy Whiteway left the accounting world to pursue what he’s always loved to do: create
His interest in creating quality furniture pieces came from his love for design, nature and a curiosity for creating something that is beautiful, timeless, and challenging.
He shares: “In furniture making, there is always something that I can learn, there will always be questions to be answered and there will always be another technique to master. The feeling I get when I am creating something unique and technical that I know will last a lifetime is something I am driven to reach with every creation, and my love for this craft grows everyday.”
His dedication to craftsmanship continues to grow as he expands and creates collections made-to-order and aims to pursue more bespoke furniture design training into the future.
